I truly enjoyed this book.I was an emotional roller coaster to say the least. I laughed, cried, really ugly cried, smiled, smirked, got angry, really angry at some points. But that's all in the mist of being consumed by these characters. I really liked them all. But I loved Mav and Win.
They were just awesome together, you can't just find that kind of love anywhere. I loved the game they played often "one word."
My heart was shattered for Stone, he was such a good guy, and had a perfect life as well, but did what he thought he had to, because that was the kind of person he was. Loyalty should have been his middle name. I couldn't even imagine what Morg had to go through.
This book will make you stop and think. So many obstacles that they all had to over come. But they did it. Life isn't always easy, you have to work hard at it, and at what is important to you. Never give up on what is yours and what you deserve. In the end, it will be worth it, very rewarding.
I loved the epilogue, the way it was years later and how things are still going, it's just awesome.
Nothing was left hanging, having to "wonder if."
It was perfect. Thanks for such a great book, I will also be looking for more books by Rachel Robinson.
I think I will also be thinking of Mav and Win for the next few days are so, so no need in rushing to another book. Not right now anyway.

Crazy Good by Rachel Robinson
Navy Seal Maverick Hart is cocky and arrogant. He takes what he wants when he wants. Women fall at his feet, that is, until he meets Windsor. Windsor’s previous relationship has sworn her off men. She keeps her guard up, that is, until she meets Maverick Hart. While she cannot deny the attraction, she cannot allow herself to be hurt again. Maverick has never had to work so hard to get a date with a woman before. When she finally gives in and goes on a date with him, she realizes that she is starting to live life again. Maverick is smitten with Windsor and yet scared for what he feels. The book starts off with a gripping opening chapter that then takes you on a journey of their courtship. When Maverick is deployed overseas, tragedy occurs and both of them make mistakes. The hurt they both feel will leave you wondering if they can every come back from it. Be warned you will need a few tissues along the way. Overall I enjoyed this story.
Hot books and Sassy Girls
After finding out her ex-fiancé was cheating on her, Windsor Forbes has written men off her list for good. The rational and organized accountant deals with enough risks in her job that she can't take risking her feelings for a useless piece of man once again. But it's been two years now, and her friends insist on taking her out, back into the real life.
Thomas "Maverick" Hart is a playbook Navy SEAL he's great on the eyes, and great with the ladies. But his MO is sweet and short bag 'em and leave 'em. When Windsor spots him in the club, her first thoughts are "trouble", and she can already tell what his standard operating procedure is. Needless to say she's not down to collaborate.
"Once I fixate on something, I don't stop until I get it perfected. I want to perfect f...king Blue Eyes. Then, once I reach that goal, I'll find a new one. Something or someone more complicated."
But Maverick isn't used to rejection, and that just made Windsor a challenge for him... so he's going all out to get her into his bed. Windsor puts up a good fight, but in the end, the attraction is too heavy and she can't help but give in to Maverick's wooing. And as Mav spends more and more time with Windsor, his self-imposed challenge changes entirely to something else.
What I loved about this book
The character evolution (even though Mav does a bit of a huge 180!)
The story-twist towards the end
The suspense-filled last 30% of the book
What I felt needed improvement
The pace was dragging a bit around the middle of the book
Crazy Good was recommended to me by Nasreen from Goodreads because I was in a Navy/Army/SEAL reading phase and this book definitely didn't disappoint!
I really loved the characters and the unusual way their story develops. Indeed, Windsor was definitely a great heroine she was rational, level-headed, tired of being peoples' doormats, yet she was extremely kind, and I loved the way she interacted with Mav and turned him into a completely different man.
"I don't do dates. I don't give out numbers. I work with them. Let's not pretend this is going anywhere."
And I loved watching how Maverick turned from a completely arrogant manwhore into a caring boyfriend. While his first intentions were solely based on getting Windsor into his bed, this goal was later pushed to the very back of his mind. He was bent on showing Windsor that he could control himself (even if only barely!) and that sex wasn't what this was all about. And from there, Maverick just became a perfect badass/navy/devoted book boyfriend. The things he did for Windsor were just swoonworthy!
Sure, Crazy Good is a kind of "she's-the-one-so-I'll-change-all-that-I-am-for-her" story, but that doesn't mean that it was an average insta-love story. I actually liked the fact that you could witness the evolution in Maverick's mind, and notice how little by little, Windsor actually becomes his forever girl rather than just a challenging hookup he can't wait to bag.
The writing was very good the 1st person dual-POV kept me on my toes and I also loved that it was quite daring from the beginning on. Indeed Crazy Good starts with a very interesting prologue (set in the future) that's only a taste of what's to come. The book also included stylistic variants such as the use of e-mail, text and even Skype exchanges. I'd also like to applaud the author for a wonderful epilogue that rounds up the story nicely. So all in all, it was very well done.
While the book dragged on a bit towards the middle, I found the last 30% to be absolutely earth-shattering, angsty and heatbreaking something terrible and unexpected happens, and throws Maverick and Windsor into a loop, leading Maverick to act like a total jerk towards her. And a disappointed Windsor finds that she put all her trust into the wrong person, again.
"Neutral Windsor, meet positively charged Windsor. The latter also communicates with Stupid Windsor..."
But the moment Mav realizes what he's done to Windsor, the damage is already done and he will have to fight hard to win her back... And that's when the story really becomes interesting, and yes - I kid you not - you may shed a tear or two!
Last but not least, I also really liked the side characters in this story and you can read about Morganna and Steve's story in the standalone sequel Set in Stone .
